Notice how I don't update very often? Isn't that awesome? I truly wonder if anyone cares... but, since I plan on doing alot lately I thaught I should add some news here... Ruin is bumpin' and grindin' lately, and I shall recap on the goings on.
The Blind Submissions LP was released on Amok Recordings, you may download it Here. The Ahlsowend EP was released on Amok Recordings, you may download it Here.
That's stuff that has been released, BUT heres the good part! I am releasing 2 more EP's for you're consumption. One is somewhat the sequel to Ahlsowend and another is a Harsh noise album. Also... I plan on doing a boxset release for a very fair price, approximately 20$ with postage for 5-6 CD's. I have an order in at Stickerguy for some stickers, and some other goodies to include in the boxset... so thats exciting. The packaging will be really nice too.
ummm hmmm, I will be adding a Albums section I think to media... so you can download selected albums there...
thats enough for now. thanks.

Greetings, Followers.
So, I've been a lazy fartface. I haven't done any updates. I'm lazy. I haven't been persuaded. What we need is a little persuasion. So, little news: Race4prize from Em411, aka Lobo Halcyon, aka Monotape, aka the british bulldog; well anyways... he has a nice label called 1984 (quite suprised no one has taken that yet, ups to him.) I have a release coming out on it, called PREVERT. Heck yes. Its hawt Beetz. Also check this.
I have been so slow making music, me and J. Gray from my past project 'Soldeputter' are doing a little dance number called 'RCL Commission' its you know, hardcore trance with female vocals (or perhaps its some kind of hybrid electro post rock). Anyways, we have two efforts already produced, an LP and an EP, the ep was recorded live, and its hawt beetz. the LP was forged like a fine katana, and its hawt beetz... more on that later.
But, as Ruin i havent really done anything in such a long time, that i feel like quite a chump indeed! School was sucking the life out of me so the mission has been terminated and im back to being a bum with no purpose at the moment. Lets just say, i wish i was making music. BUT SINCE the mission was terminated, all my gear is living quietly in an abandoned room: LIKE SRLY!
I dream of vertibrae, everyday. Vertebrae is my dream album. Full of colors and textures, and giant rolling machinery. Big clouds of poisonous gas floating through decaying buildings. But alas! my brain is too small at the moment to do such a great work, at least how i hear it in my brain, or is it the process of switching the ideas from my brain to my hands to my gear that is inhibitting it? either way I hate you BRAIN.
Umm, come back, okay? PLZ AND THNAKZ. BYES

Sorry all for the long delay (I say all as if people actualy view this site). I've been working on a new album... All hardware, jam type songs. I want to make it really good, of course, but I mean, put alot of effort, time and care into it, to make it a really good listen. It's going to be an all hardware album. With very little overdubs. I want to make it as live as I can...its going to be a very moody, dark album... like a soundtrack for a movie... you can listen to some samples if you want:
These songs might not actualy get on to the album, but this would be a good indication of what it is going to sound like.
In other news the ruinProjects site is all done. This is a site detailing my current musical gadgets that I am working on and some past devices that I feel I should share. Big thanks to Aaron 'Jomdom' Ransley for doing the site.

It always seems as if I am getting new gear, I am awaiting the arrival of the Yamaha SY22 Vector synthesis keyboard. The Keyboard mixes Vector synthesis, AWM samples, and simplistic FM. I read the manual, it looks very promising. I am also possibly trading License (homeboy on em411) one of my Casio Sk-1's and my (used to be his) Korg Ea-1 for his Behringer Modulizer and Roland MC-500 sequencer. Excited about those as well.
As for music I have so many ideas flying around that its so hard to keep track. There could possibly be upwards of 10 cd concepts in my mind for ruin right now. Those of course will most likely be condensed down to a (much) smaller number. Can't really reveal any plans right now... I'll tell you when more stuff comes up. One thing I can tell you is that Lev Cocarell and myself are recording an album called Self Storage featuring improvisational jams on various electronics recorded to tape.
It's very interesting!

Lots of news in ruinTown... I'm planning so many CD's that it very well could start hurting my brain. There's just so much info on those, I'm not going to even begin to explain. I have been jamming a lot, getting tapes together for different songs and stuff. Been practicing for some live sets, running through what I would do, that sort of thing.
New gear! The Korg Ea-1 and Yamaha RX5. I've got a really small amount of CD's of Rusted lying around to be sold while I wait for Anne to send some my way (Anne, you still alive?!)... Um, that's all.
